Ye Olde Fighting Cocks pub seen today in St Albans, Hertfordshire was built in the 11th Century. The building has rich history with its namesake being from actual cock fighting in the main bar in the late 19th and early 20th century. There are tunnels leading from the beer cellar at Ye Olde fighting cocks right through to the St Albans Cathedral which were apparently used by monks.
Working together again with the Ye Olde pub to bring yet another sporting event to the big screen for the 2018 record breaking British summertime. Vortex events provided an outdoor 5mx3m 8.9mm full colour LED display screen as well as a sound system for the historic 2018 world cup.
Our team built a custom scaffolding structure to hold the screen in place, as well as LED technicians for load out and load in, we had a technician always on standby to assist with any technical difficulties throughout the screenings.
