We supported the Gala Bingo in 2022 by supplying a state of the art Hi-RES LED Screen solution for there TV advert shoot. Well received by both the production company and client. Our LED screen product offered bright hi resolution graphics, make it easy to read by everyone in the room and more importantly look clean and clear on camera. Our experienced onsite technicians ensured that the content was mapped and synced perfectly, will all the required colour and light levels set to suit the cameras for the shoot.
This advert has and will be seen by millions across the globe when it airs during the 2023 season of The Chase on ITV. Gala Bingo to launch over 60 tongue-in-cheek idents to celebrate their sponsorship of ITV’s The Chase. To continue the brand’s mission of bringing the joy back into bingo, and featuring the same cast as their latest campaign (The Gala Gang), Gala Bingo’s new sponsorship idents feature a ‘gameshow’ called: The Answer is Bingo. Across the idents we see the Gala Gang go head-to-head with ITV’s Chasers in this new gameshow.
What starts out as a seeming battle of wits, falls into a comedic tailspin where the contestants get creative in how they answer the host’s range of questions with the single answer, Bingo.
System Design
Our HI Res LED screen and Hippo media server solution was a perfect match for this project. Offering minimal screen artifacts, moire effects and refresh rate timing problems. This as seen from the footage below, a perfect digital backdrop was created for the shoot.
Careful planning was necessary to not only ensure the safety of all involved but also the technical success of the event. The size and height of all the LED screens was critical to allow a comfortable viewing experience.
Support
Carefully considered project management ensured that all event planing, risk assessments, health and safety management and environment considerations were taken care of.
Working closely with the Production Team, Vortex events provided an experienced site manager who was available throughout the event. Ensuring the safety and security of all attendees, making sure a great experience was had by all.
An experienced technical team supported setup, operation and pack down, with minimal disruptions to other users of the building. It was once again an unforgettable experience for all and very happy clients!
