- In early 2016 we were thrilled to be approached by RTS Group‘s Technical Production Manager, Nick Cole, to deliver a dramatic unveiling of the new Toyota C-HR.
Using our DMX winches we were able to create a dynamic look that spanned an area of 20m x 7m, above a stage with two revolving platforms.
- With a 4m lift and up to 2KG weight loading per winch, a variety of different LED fixtures can be attached. For this project we used our 2M RGB Rods attached to a winch at each end, allowing the entire length of bar to be moved. When used in large quantities, such as in this project (60 x Winches and 30 x 2m Rods), the scope for creating impressive shapes is truly inspiring.
Using our own custom created winch control software, we were able to creatively position the winches within the space allocated. Then, utilising the time code feature, we coordinated all lighting patterns and movements perfectly in sync with the custom LED screen content. Our fantastic built-in visualiser allowed the client to view a conceptual video of how the final design would look, complete with the LED screens playing back the custom made content. The visualisation was able to demonstrate how our winches can track content from the LED screens.
We performed 10 flawless shows over 5 days to 380 delegates, and really look forward to working with RTS group on further projects!
