Projection Mapping – Bugged Out
The well known club night Bugged Out held a one off event involving projection mapping and tasked us to provide a solution to a difficult projection brief. Using one of high power Barco HD 20K FLM projectors in the centre of the room. The structural solution we provided for the Oval Space was unique. We provided DVI over Fibre video distribution to take video from the control position to the projector, and projector installation, alignment etc.
The DJ Booth and surrounding set were projected onto, this already visually distinctive set was then bought to life with stunning animations which became a gripping focus point to the room. Projection mapping at events is a popular effect, and creates a level of mystery and intruige in visuals – making real world objects canvases, able to transform into more than what they really are.
We stock a full range of media servers for projection mapping and have engineers in house who are well versed at mapping onto many different surfaces and shapes.
