Farr festival in its first year was a gathering for a group of like-minded friends in an uninhabited forest, converted a broken down caravan into a stage. Now in its 9th year its grown to 5 stages, 3 days, 2 nights and attracts 6000 woodland warriors. The forests sits just outside of London in Hertfordshire and attracts international artists and DJ’s.
Design
Having worked with Farr in 2017, we happy to once again work with them in accommodating their growing numbers. Farr Festival main stage arena has been grown over the years, stand-alone its at 4000 capacity. We at vortex events provided state of the art L-Acoustics sound systems to accommodate for the massive crowds. Surrounded shipping containers as part of the setup for the main stage, we at vortex ensured the rigged systems effectively so as to not affect the other stages but also did not distort any of the sound, ensuring the best sound delivery possible.
Our team at vortex events was responsible for load in, load out, rigging of the sound system. We provided engineers throughout the three day event to support with the sound delivery.
