Farr Festival is an electronic music festival held within an uninhabited forest in Hertfordshire, England.
Since 2009 Farr Festival has evolved from a small gathering of like-minded friends into one of UK’s leading electronic music festivals.
Design
With Farr Festival growing at an exponential rate, the demand for a much larger main stage was high. This year the main stage at Farr grew to a massive 4000 capacity, and we at Vortex worked with Farr’s Oscar Thornton to coordinate a captivating production of sound, lighting and video.
Working from sketch up models designed by Charlie Allenton, we designed a lighting rig that emphasised the industrial facade.
Support
The Vortex team ran all of the stage’s production, from changeovers to VJs. It was an awesome event and we’re already looking forward to growing production with the festival in 2018!
