Vortex Events provided equipment for 2 new distinctive areas at the 2016 Isle of Wight Festival – ElectroLove & Cirque De La Quirk
We specified a high-impact package to make sure this years festival went off with a bang.
Both areas benefited from the long throw and punchy audio of our L’acoustics DvDosc Line array, which we deployed in a ground stack configuration with SB28 Subwoofers to ensure a solid low end.
A full mic & monitor compliment was included, so our engineers were more than ready for the diverse range of acts that appeared throughout the weekend.
The Cirque De La Quirk stage was treated to 2 of our 8.mm LED Diamonds, providing bright video to compliment the music through the day and into the night. The lighting provided included Martin moving head fixtures, as well as blinders, and Martin Atomic 3000 Strobes.
The Electrolove stage fully embraced its retro vibe – and we helped compliment this by providing an assortment of rotating mirror balls, plus our very own LED orbs, individually addressable, flexible, strings of LED
