Crossrail Tunnel Breakthrough Press Release
In recognition of the Crossrail Farringdon breakthrough from east to west, a press release was held with VIP’s Boris Johnson and David Cameron in attendance. We supplied super-bright Barco HD20 projection to play back short films and timelapses of all of the hard work that has gone into Crossrail so far, illuminating the unique underground space with sharp video.
Also present was our L’ Acoustics dVDOSC Line array, providing speech and audio reinforcement, delivering clarity & intelligibility in a reverberant environment. Controlled dispersion is vital in this sort of acoustic environment, and dVDOSC was the perfect tool for the job.
This subterranean space was further transformed with the lighting package we delivered – using vibrant uplighting to make the most of the surroundings, illuminating and adding intruige, whilst also giving the space a feel suited to a VIP Press event.
This venue provided unique load-in challenges, which we rose too – by sinking 40m below the streets of London to deliver an exciting event, celebrating a major step towards the completion of the Crossrail project.
